The District of Sooke is in the final phase of updating its Parks and Trails Master Plan and Transportation Master Plan. There was significant community engagement throughout the process. Now we are inviting your input on the draft versions of both plans.
Join us for a joint virtual community engagement event for both master plans on Thursday July 9, 2020. The event will be held virtually due to COVID-19 physical distancing requirements. Because of this, we will require advance registration so that a meeting link and password can be sent directly to your email.
The meeting link and password will be sent to the email address you provide on July 8 along with a Zoom participant guide for those who may be using the platform for the first time. Depending on your email settings, this email could end up in your junk folder. Please check both your inbox and junk folder. If you do not receive the meeting link and password, please contact kkorki@urbansystems.ca.
You only need to register once to provide input on both master plans. When you sign in to the Zoom meeting, anytime between 5 and 7pm, you will be asked which master plan you would like to provide input on. You will then be placed into one of two breakout rooms. If you would like to provide feedback on both master plans you are welcome to do so. Simply join one breakout room, and when you are ready to switch topics, send a message to the meeting host using the chat feature. We will take care of the rest!
